네피도 시의회 제야티리 타운십에 위치한 슈웨묘 태양광 발전소는 2026년 6월부터 전력 생산을 시작할 예정입니다.
Currently, work on the solar tracker systems, including the base and tracker poles, has been completed. Of the total 60,000 solar panels planned for installation, approximately 40,000 have already been installed, and the remaining 20,000 will be installed by the end of February.

현재 태양광 추적 시스템(기반 및 추적 기둥 포함) 설치 작업이 완료되었습니다. 설치 예정인 총 6만 개의 태양광 패널 중 약 4만 개가 이미 설치되었으며, 나머지 2만 개는 2월 말까지 설치될 예정입니다.
The Shwe Myoh Solar Power Project is expected to generate nearly 200 megawatts of electricity daily starting in June. The electricity will be directly connected to the national grid and transmitted to the Shwe Myoh Substation, which is owned by the Ministry of Electric Power.

슈웨묘 태양광 발전 프로젝트는 6월부터 하루 약 200메가와트의 전력을 생산할 것으로 예상됩니다. 생산된 전력은 국가 전력망에 직접 연결되어 전력부가 소유한 슈웨묘 변전소로 송전될 예정입니다.
The Shwe Myoh Solar Power Project uses the latest technologies. The solar tracker system is equipped with AI technology and weather stations and includes automatic control systems that rotate the solar panels toward the sunlight and protect them from damage caused by hail and strong winds.

슈웨묘 태양광 발전 프로젝트는 최첨단 기술을 활용합니다. 태양광 추적 시스템은 인공지능(AI) 기술과 기상 관측소를 갖추고 있으며, 태양광 패널을 햇빛 방향으로 회전시키고 우박과 강풍으로 인한 손상으로부터 보호하는 자동 제어 시스템을 포함합니다.
The project was initiated in 2022 with land acquisition, soil studies, and documentation preparation, and piling work for the first phase of the project began in April 2025. The project is planned to generate 30 megawatts in the first phase and 30 megawatts each in the second and third phases, for a total capacity of 90 megawatts. Upon completion, the project is expected to partially meet the country’s electricity needs. — ASH/TH
